It would be really helpful if the NowTV online help could at least acknowledge there's a problem, and find a way of communicating with affected customers to implement a fix. I'm not a technical person so don't feel comfortable mucking about with the nuts and bolts of my network set up, I just want the player to work!Īn added frustration is the fact that there's no way to know if the issue has been fixed without paying for a pass, and then I have to pester NowTV for a refund when I can't use it. Interestingly, the NowTV player works fine on the same machine while I'm at work, so it does appear this is some sort of network configuration conflict issue. Silverlight was working perfectly until a couple of weeks ago - it appears that NowTV have since made a change their end which now forces a default to the NowTV player and invalidates Silverlight. I'm not willing to try the out of date version of Firefox, that seems sub optimal from a security perspective, and from what others have said I'm not confident it will solve this issue. I've installed and uninstalled the player several times but no joy. I'm using a MacBook Air running OS 10.11.6, and have tried both Safari and Firefox browsers.
